- Basics: Provide a review of basic concepts covered in textbooks.
- Practice: Reinforces and consolidates learning through practice problems.
- Challenge: Offers advanced enrichment through challenging problems.
- Check: Gives students a chance to confirm their understanding.
Note: Two workbooks (A and B) for each grade correspond to the two halves of the school year. Answer key not included. Soft cover. Grades PK-2 Workbooks are perforated. A note for teachers: Differentiated workbook problems offer a range of complexity. The workbook problems in each lesson are structured to become increasingly challenging. Every student will not necessarily complete every question. Lessons are structured to include the following sections, in order: Basics, Practice, and Challenge. Basics covers the main concepts of the lesson (and shows parents how these concepts were taught). Practice offers further practice. Challenge problems are optional and can be used as homework or in class, as time permits. Students will work at their own pace, starting from the problems in Basics, progressing to Practice, then to Challenge. It is not essential for all problems to be completed if homework load is a concern. Additionally, students may arrive at correct answers using different processes from the ones shown in the Teacher's Guide. Accept all correct answers, as methods used may vary throughout.
A & B Books: Our programs divide the school year into two semesters. “A” level books are for the first half of the school year. “B” level books are for the second half of the school year. You need both “A” and “B” material for a complete school year.
Required Components: Textbooks, Workbooks, and Guides (either Home Instructor’s Guides or Teacher’s Guides) are all necessary components. These three elements each serve a unique function and work together to build math mastery.
Answer Key: Located in corresponding Home Instructor’s Guide/Teacher’s Guide
