Excellent and accurate! I'm a volunteer creating habitat for, and education about, native bees. I was worried that this book would disappoint, I was wrong to doubt! This lovely lift-the-flap covers the life of honeybees (non-native to the US and considered livestock) AND our native species like the bumble bee and leafcutter bee! Most books we have picked up in the kids section at the library assume all bees behave as honey bees do when, in fact, they vary greatly. This bee enthusiast was impressed, and my daughter loved the flaps and cute illustrations! Date: 10/26/2017 9:56 AM
